Alice Payne Is….
….a standup comedian, speaker, and rare disease advocate. Alice has shared the stage with Iliza Schlesinger, Tom Arnold, Kimberly Clarke, Laurie Kilmartin, Chris Bryant, and Kira Soltanovich. She has performed at Caroline’s on Broadway, The Icehouse, and Flappers Comedy Club, where she currently teaches an “Intro to Stand Up Comedy” class.
Alice started doing stand-up comedy when her kids were three and four years old with the hopes of bombing, so she could get a few minutes of silence. Unfortunately, she was a natural; the audience laughed and Alice was hooked. Now, her only regret is not having found comedy before she spent all that money on a law degree, but apparently, her comedic timing is impeccable.
Currently, Alice is preparing for the filming of a short comedy special for release on “The Disorder Channel”, performing around the country, and hosting the podcast “Pain Points with Alice Payne.”
